Memorial Ceremonies held in Chinese Qingming Festival in memory of Dr. Norman Bethune.
News from Zhongxin Hebei Website: At the time of Qingming Festival, a fifty member Canadian Delegation came to Shijiazhuang and held ceremonies under the topic of “Follow Norman Bethune to China.”

In the morning, the delegation arrived at the campus of Dr. Norman Bethune located at the Medical Institution of Shijiazhuang. During the meeting between the delegation and the students, they shared cultural differences with each other and talked a lot about their own traditions. After the meeting, the

delegation had a tour of the Memorial Hall of Norman Bethune. In the afternoon, the delegation and the students and instructors went to the mausoleum of Norman Bethune to pay their respects to this great person.

This activity was organized by Tianjiao International Education Group. The delegation consisted of Principals, instructors, and some students from the Canadian education field.

After the ceremony, the head of the delegation, James Zhan, told reporters that he saw how much Doctor Bethune is adored by Chinese. He hopes the young Canadian students can remember and deepen their friendship between China and Canada forever.

Tianjiao's Cultural Exchange trips are more than just a vacation. You meet real people and experience real life in China. You see what you always have dreamed of seeing and live a life never imagined. First class accommodation, the finest foods, and every detail looked after by professionals who know what you are looking for. Ideal for teachers, students and families, I would recommend Tianjiao as the only way to see China. Definitely more than just a vacation; it's the experience of a lifetime.
